Hello there!
I'm E. Doveton, also known as Alder, and I'm a biologist, artist, and bioimaging enthusiast from central Europe. I believe that sharing our understanding of nature's complex beauty in an accessible way is a vital part of science. So, I've made my ongoing hobby into this library of microscope images that are free for everyone.
I release all microscope images on pages titled “Alder's Open Microscope” under CC0. If you'd like, I'd appreciate attribution, as it would help others benefit from this resource. The logo, as well as the content of any other pages on this site, remains subject to copyright. I've labeled pages with free images in the header and footer. Most images are edited to enhance clarity; they are intended for learning and enjoyment rather than research. Thanks, all, and I hope you enjoy! |

Before using pre-made slides, I ensure that the companies don't restrict use of images taken of their slides (proof: LAKWAR) |
